I met a spiritual couple on February 17th, and while we were talking about some of the spiritual events that we each had experienced, a clear sphere about four inches in diameter appeared directly in front of the husband’s face. The sphere covered most of his nose, with the exception of about three quarters of an inch, and the top edge bordered the top of his eyebrows.

At first I thought that I had to be seeing things, but no matter how many times I blinked my eyes the sphere did not disappear, and unlike a mirage the image did not change in any manner whatsoever. My mind could not come to grips with the vision before me, and I decided that my imagination had to be creating the entire phenomenon. I tried looking away from it several times, first off to my right, and then off to my left, and then back at him, and each time I repeated that exercise the image did not change.

Sometime during the next five to ten minutes a white ring, about two inches in diameter manifested around the sphere, and the distance between it and the sphere was about five inches. The ring was almost all white, but it had a grayish-blue inner fringe, and that bluish color only covered about an eighth of the surface going up the side of the ring.

I did the blinking and turning of my head side-to-side routine again, and the images before me remained unchanged, so I decided to describe everything that I could see to the gentleman and his wife, including the fact that it would not go away no matter what I did. Sometime later his wife asked if I knew that her husband had prostate cancer, and the moment she uttered those words my mind began to draw conclusions. However, before I go any further I should mention what I believe had to be the catalyst behind that event.

Late summer, 2007, my best friend developed a huge, festering red and nasty looking growth in the center of the back of his neck, just where it joins the shoulders. He mentioned that his doctor told him to have it surgically removed, but at the time my friend was dealing with other medical issues, and the doctor told him they had to be resolved before the growth could be removed.

That very night, and every night thereafter, I prayed to the Holy Spirit to heal that growth on my buddy’s neck, and I did that by asking Him to wrap my friend in His healing blue light.

My friend and I watch Monday night football together, rotating from his home to mine every other week. One Monday night in late October, the moment I opened the door I could see that my buddy was literally beaming with excitement … or perhaps joy might better describe it. He leaned over and asked me to look at the back of his neck, and the second I did I noticed that the growth was gone; in fact there was no sign that it had ever been there to begin with.

All the prayers that I had prayed to the Holy Spirit immediately came to mind, and I could not help myself … I told my buddy all about them. And as I did I felt chills throughout my body, and major goose bumps covered me from head to toe, and simultaneous to that it felt almost as though my feet might lift off of the floor … I knew in my heart that Spirit was giving me confirmation that my prayers had been answered.

Now back to the sphere and the ring around it … I am still developing my confidence with regard to the spiritual gifts that Spirit has blessed me with. I did not feel comfortable enough to tell the couple about the message that I felt that the sphere and ring were conveying to me, but I did the next time we met. I believe the clear sphere meant that he would be healed, and that the coloring of the ring revealed how much of the healing process that had been completed, and that the grayish blue area indicated the amount of healing process that remained.

As of the date that I am writing this article, the gentleman’s treatments are completed, and it appears that his cancer is in remission.

While watching the evening news recently, I heard medical professionals openly admit that the power of prayer has been a significant factor in the healing process of some of their critically ill patients; and I for one, am 100% convinced that the power of prayer is truly a miraculous healing power … I have personally seen the results twice in the past year and a half, and both were dramatically noticeable.
