REINCARNATION
IS IT A MYTH?

Matthew Chapter 17, Verses 10, 11 and 13

The disciples put this question to him: “Why do the scribes claim that Elijah must come first?” In reply he said: “Elijah is indeed coming, and he will restore everything.” The disciples then realized that he had been speaking to them about John the Baptizer.

Mark, Chapter 8, Verses 27 and 28

Then Jesus and his disciples set out for the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his disciples this question: “Who do people say that I am?” They replied, “Some, John the Baptizer, others, Elijah, still others, one of the prophets.”

These men were in spirit, so I find it interesting that they inferred Jesus could be one of them, and it seems to me that the passages above both allude to reincarnation.

The subject of reincarnation has always intrigued me, and in recent times I’ve discovered ‘me’ in other lifetimes: I had been a priest in a New Mexico Pueblo; I lived in Egypt and died face down in the sand in front of a temple; an unexplained strong feeling of kinship to North American Indians helped me to discover another; and yet another through a twist of fate, I discovered I had been the Mayor of the ancient city, Trelba Sye. However, my reincarnations are not the focus of this writing.
I had my first face-to-face meeting with Metaphysical Master, Stephanie Ann Stevens when I attended her seminar, Premonitions, Prophecies & Predictions, on July 1st, 2005, and you’re most likely asking yourself, “What on God’s earth does that have to do with reincarnation?” That short encounter is directly responsible for hours upon hours upon hours of research. Both before and after the seminar I talked with numerous people who’ve witnessed her medical intuitive abilities, and many of them have compared her abilities to those of the late and famed Edgar Cayce. Some of those people took their analogy a step further … declaring that Stephanie Ann Stevens is Edgar Cayce reincarnated. I’ve also talked with spiritually intuitive people who’ve made unsolicited statements declaring that Stephanie Ann Stevens is Edgar Cayce, and I’ve had the honor of being present when an esteemed individual told Ms. Stevens that he had met her son, Hugh Lynn Cayce.
I’ve read and reread two books about Edgar Cayce: Edgar Cayce; The Sleeping Prophet by Jess Stearn; and The Story of Edgar Cayce; There Is A River by Thomas Sugrue. I’ve also read everything that I could find about him on the Internet, and through these sources I’ve compiled an Edgar Cayce storehouse of knowledge. During the almost one and three quarter years since meeting Stephanie Ann Stevens, I’ve developed first hand knowledge of her abilities, and I can say with a great deal of authority that I agree with those spiritually intuitive people that she IS Edgar Cayce reincarnated. I will give you chapter and verse of why I am so convinced, but before I do I must address another subject that I find to be of significant interest to me … David Wilcock.
It is held by many that because Mr. Wilcock’s facial features resemble those of the late Edgar Cayce, and because his abilities seem to parallel those of Mr. Cayce, that David Wilcock is the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. They present numerous supporting facts to substantiate their conviction, but I think there’s one extremely important piece of the puzzle that is missing from their factual data. Edgar Cayce had a very strong desire to heal people, especially children, and that information was detailed in Edgar Cayce, The Sleeping Prophet, written by Jess Stearn.

* * * * *

Mr. Stearn wrote, “Off by himself, in a secluded outdoor nook, he had been reading in the Bible of the vision of Manoah, for he loved dearly the story of Sampson. Suddenly, there was a humming sound, and a bright light filled the glade where he usually hid to read the wonderful stories. As he looked up, he saw a figure in white, bright as the noon day light, and heard a voice;
“Your prayers have been heard. What would you ask of me, that I may give it to you?”
The boy was not startled. Even then it seemed natural to see visions. “Just that I may be helpful to others,” he replied, “Especially to children who are ill, and that I may love my fellow man.
It almost seemed as if somebody besides himself were speaking.
The figure silently disappeared.”

* * * * *

Cayce’s diagnoses and recommended remedies over the years certainly helped a lot of children, including his own, Hugh Lynn Cayce. Edgar also helped numerous adults improve their health, and toward the end of his life, knowingly to the detriment of his own health, he performed more medical diagnosis readings each day than he should have, and he did it because he wanted to help his fellow man. Think about that, “To help his fellow man”. Did he not tell the figure in white, “And that I may love my fellow man”? I ask you to also consider this, what greater gift and love can a man give, than to give his life for others?
Edgar Cayce loved to help people find an answer to their medical issues, and if it had been such a passion for him in a previous lifetime, why would he change it in the next? I have a firm conviction that he wouldn’t, yet David Wilcock, whom many claim to be Edgar Cayce reincarnated, does not have healing abilities. Based upon everything that I’ve learned about Edgar Cayce, that is a significant missing piece of important comparative data. I mentioned that many people have said that Stephanie Ann Stevens is Edgar Cayce reincarnated, and since both Wilcock and Stevens are currently alive, one group certainly must be off the mark. Let’s take a close look at information regarding Stephanie Ann Stevens’ history, and compare it to the history of Edgar Cayce.
Mark Mihalko stated in an article that he wrote, “The Amazing World of Edgar Cayce”, that at the age of 13 a beautiful woman appeared to Cayce. She asked what he wanted most in life, which is similar to what Stearn, wrote. Stevens also had a beautiful woman appear to her on many occasions, and she’s identified her as being Mary, the Holy Mother. Albeit that it happened at a later point in life than it did for Cayce … it happened after she lay on the floor crying. The tears she shed were for the poor and sick people that she wanted so desperately to help, and wanting to help sick people is just the beginning of their similarities.
Both, devout Christians, had a life long interest in the Bible. Christianity is a religion that does not embrace the concept of reincarnation, yet they both told people about past lives, and both suffered mental anguish. What they knew to be true about reincarnation was totally against the teachings of their church.
Cayce could not talk for a number of months, and while under hypnosis he not only diagnosed his problem, he gave the needed remedy. Stevens had a swallowing problem for four years, and she ultimately cured it herself after she learned from Dr. Day, a Christian Hypnotherapist,  how to self hypnotize … which is what Cayce did (go into a trance) whenever diagnosing a person’s health problem. When Stevens is diagnosing a person’s spiritual body she closes her eyes, and even if it’s for just a few minutes she develops sleep dust, a material that glues one’s eyes shut. According to a well-known physicist, sleep dust happens when one is under self-hypnosis, even if the duration is just a few minutes.
Stevens has been seeing auras since she was in middle school, and like Cayce, she has the ability to remote view auras. In addition, both of them could tell much about a person and their state of health just by looking at the person’s aura. When Edgar Cayce diagnosed a health issue, he also gave a remedy for the cure, and so does Stephanie, but she has taken it a step further … she has cured clients by sending the OM’s healing power to them, and you may ask, “What is the OM?” That information is beyond the scope of this writing, but you can learn all about the OM on the home page of my website: www.rodcdavis.com. That put aside, I’d like you to consider this: Could the OM’s healing power be an enhancement to her past life healing abilities as Edgar Cayce? These are but a few of the similarities between them, and next month I will share many, many more.
Before closing I want to introduce you to Nancy McKinney. Nancy is a very special and spiritual being. She has been capturing spirits and other dimensional beings and objects with her camera for many years, and as you will learn at the end of her writing, she now shares those photos on her website for all to see.
REINCARNATION, Can You Believe It?
By
Nancy McKinney, M.A.

    The longer I live, the more information I receive that tells me my present life is but one puzzle piece, interlocking with other pieces in a grand design which is all of Creation. The Big Puzzle, of course, is the answer to the Universal Questions, “Who am I, Where am I going, and Where did I come from?” The Big Puzzle is about God, the Supreme Creator, the All That Is, and my connection in that.
    Right now in my life, this life, my part is that I serve humanity by taking photographs and painting pictures that make the unseen visible, and I am also here to learn to love unconditionally and to receive the same in joy and abundance. If I don’t learn these things in this life, I will have another chance in another life, and another life, until I do. My work, my service to humanity may change, but learning to give and receive love in abundance is the point.
     I do the work I do, because of a past life contract, or a soul agreement and because of free will desires. That is still another piece of my particular puzzle, but this article is not about my own past lives, or even if I believe in them, which I do, or what value knowledge about those past lives has in this life, but about how do YOU find your own answers to these questions? How do you decide if you believe in reincarnation, the idea that we have an eternal soul, and that the soul continues to experience multiple lives on Earth and multiple lives in non-physical realms as well?
    Where am I getting my answers? Actually, they are everywhere around me, but I couldn’t see them until I opened my eyes. I couldn’t open my eyes until I started thinking for myself, and letting go of the notion that I didn’t believe in certain things. This is called letting go of disbelief. What I had been taught by my education, both religious and academic, my parents, my peers, and the media was like driving a car while only looking out the front windshield, so when that fourteen-wheeler starts to cross into your lane, you better look in more than one direction.
    This was all a matter of closing my eyes to one set of information, generally called, tradition, long enough to open them in another direction, thinking for myself. I didn’t have to totally reject what I had been taught; all I had to do was open to other ideas. When you drive a car, you have to make decisions based on what’s all around you to best maneuver your car. What if you never looked in your rear view mirror, your side mirrors, or turned your head? Your narrow view could kill you.
     However, when I was first learning to drive at 15, it wasn’t easy. I panicked when I had to do so many things at once. My eyes felt glued to the front windshield and I was afraid to take them off, for fear of crashing into something. Once I took my eyes off the windshield, and looked around more at what else was going on around me, I actually felt more confident to be in the driver’s seat. Additionally, once I discovered that my soul was eternal, that I had lived before, that I live in the future, and that I have other lives simultaneous to this one and that I will live again, either here or elsewhere, my present life became  easier to understand, and I became free of a lot of  fear of aging and death. I also became free of fear of what’s in the media, the Church, and what is generally met with social approval.  When you are no longer afraid of death, and no longer live by what everyone else says, that changes your entire life.
    In exploring topics of reincarnation I began to see  why I have had injuries to only one side of my body most of my life, and the origins of many of my physical and emotional pains and lessons, which are legacies from other lives that perhaps hadn’t been resolved in those lives.  Certain ideas began to lead me on a path to my Big Puzzle pieces, ideas like synchronicity, past life regression, channeled information, trance mediumship, paranormal investigation, metaphysics, interdimensional photography, OBE’s (out of body experience), NDE’s (near death experiences) and yes, even TV programs like “Unsolved Mysteries”. I began to read the SETH books and books by Robert Monroe, Dolores Cannon, Russell Targ, Bruce Moen, and most recently, Maureen Caudill’s SUDDENLY PSYCHIC. I listened to channeling on CD’s by Esther and Jerry Hicks and Darryl Anka.  I went to open channeling sessions in Sedona, AZ., where I live, and heard from the legendary non-physical, Dr. Peebles. I decided to begin exploring things I had often wondered about, like New Age bookstores, UFO meetings, and intuitive healing, for example. I had heard some controversial things, and wanted to know for myself what it was all about. When I opened my mind, I began having amazing experiences. I began seeing UFO’s, photographing them, having visions, pre-cognitive experiences, and hearing my Guides. In other words, I began communication with my non-physical friends and family.
    Herein lies another key---explore your curious tendencies, follow them, and they will begin to lead you to your own answers. You must honor your own curiosity and your own path as yours. You will begin to feel the excitement of personal exploration and its rewards. Forget that your sister might laugh at you for your reading choices, or your neighbor might joke at a party that you had a “psychic reading”, or that you did something that was out of character a bit. Take photographs of nothing in particular, whenever you get the urge. Pay attention to that little voice inside your head, even though it is rather quiet. Give time to your intuitive urges. Listen to that small inner voice. It is subtle most of the time, so pay attention. Spend time in quiet reflection. Keep a dream journal. Find a source for channeled information that resonates with you and consider seriously what you are told.
     I don’t always accept what I hear from channeled sources, but over time, themes emerge, and I write it all down and think about it. If there is truth in it, it will show up somewhere else or just feel right. In addition, I have learned of past lives from having past life regressions, hypnosis sessions and experiences taking courses at the Monroe Institute.
     I have learned from many sources that I have had other lives. This life is a thread that connects to other threads weaving me into a tapestry of All Life with my soul family. That tapestry is ever-expanding, composed of my eternal soul and others, because one life is never enough.
