Jack Stevens, Stephanie Ann Stevens’ husband snapped this picture early in the morning on April 10, 2005. The sun still had not reached that location, and the whole procedure from beginning to end took less than 15 seconds. Stephanie balanced herself in a half lotus position on a bench located directly in front of the cross on their property, and she had been sending the OM when her husband took the picture. A blinding bright white light filled the viewfinder just as he snapped the shutter, and at the time he couldn't see anything at all. Jack and Stephanie were stunned by what they saw when they downloaded and looked at the picture on their computer.
Stephanie and I were in the beginning stages of co-writing her memoirs when she asked me if I had any ideas for a book cover. I shared my thoughts with her and between the two of us we developed a concept that she and her husband implemented a few days later. At the time Stephanie had been sending the OM to the people who attended her seminars for approximately four years, and following is some of the feedback that she has received: some felt great heat; some said they were lifted off of their seats; some said they learned the color of their auras; some saw angels and loved ones in spirit; some experienced being clairaudient; a few reported their marriage being restored; those in the audience who were sick said they felt a force that could have pushed them over if they had been standing, and some of those people told Stephanie they had been healed, right then and there.
Stephanie is convinced that the light right above her head is the Divine light of the OM, and if you look above it, and a little to the right, you can see what appears to be two angels. In addition, Stephanie and her husband believe the white light engulfing the cross is also an angel.
