The Death of Eli

The Holy Spirit showed me this, while I was still awake. I was spending the night at my brother Russell’s house and it was about eleven o-clock in the evening. I had just gone into my brother’s spare bed room to get some sleep. But first I got down on my knees beside the bed and prayed for a while. Then I got into bed for a night of sleep.
Maybe five minutes went by at the most, when all of a sudden, I could feel this presence of a great power around me. I cannot explain it, but I could truly feel it. Then with my eyes closed, I was shown an explosion of all white. It was similar to a great fire work which traveled from my head all the way down through my body. My eyes were closed but I was very much awake. I then asked the Lord what are You trying to show me. After I spoke those words, about fifteen seconds went by, when all of a sudden I was struck with this intense power.
I was lying on my right side at the time, when it all began. This power was so strong that I was helpless to do anything. My tongue went to the roof of my mouth, and I could not speak. My breathing and my heart was stopped. I tried to yell for my brother Russell in his bedroom across from mine, but I was completely helpless, I could not move.
Then I was rolled over onto my back for half a minute in this condition. The next thing that happened, was that my left arm was taken a hold of by this unseen force, in which I was being pulled to the side of the bed. I was then pulled downward toward the floor. This really scared me! I did not understand why this was happening to me. Just as I was about to fall out of the bed, I was pushed back to the center of the bed, in the reverse manner, in which it all began.
I finally was put back to my right side, where it all began. Now I could finally breath and move again. Any more of that treatment and I might have passed out, or even died. I then asked the Lord what are You trying to show me? Then right away the Lord spoke to me these words, very calmly; “Go to 1 SAMUEL 4:16 and begin to read.”
The Lord spoke this to me three times. I immediately got up and walked to the kitchen table where my bible was at. And as I began to read where I was told, I came upon the death of Eli! Eli died from a broken neck, and it did not happen by accident. I felt his death. Why the Lord has chosen me, I do not know, but I must tell it, this much I do know.
The question is, why was Eli the Priest struck down?

1 SAMUEL 4:18 And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man and heavy. And he judged Israel forty years.

The death of Eli the priest and the righteous one who will replace him.

1 SAMUEL 1:1-3 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite. And he had two wives; the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

1 SAMUEL 1:6 And her adversary(Peninnah) also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

1 SAMUEL1:10-11 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of host, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

1 SAMUEL 1:17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

1 SAMUEL1:20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, because I have asked him of the LORD.

1 SAMUEL1:27-28 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked for. Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshiped the LORD there.

1 SAMUEL 2:10 (Hannah’s Thanksgiving unto the Lord.) The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

1 SAMUEL 2:11-12 And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest. Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.

The word Belial has a great meaning in this verse. So I looked into THE NEW STRONG’S EXHAUSTIVE CONCORDANCE OF BIBLE. Belial 1100 bel-e-yah-al; from 1097 and 3276: with out profit, worthlessness. By extens. Destruction, wickedness (often in connection with 376, 802, 1121, ect.)Belial, evil , naughty, ungodly (men), wicked. 955 From the Greek. Belial. Bel-ee-al; or Beliar, bel-ee-ar of Hebrew or. [1100]; worthlessness; Belial, as an epithet of Satan: -- Belial.
Eli’s son’s were seeds of Satan, in the LORD’S house. That is why they sacrificed the flesh unto their god. This is the great travesty against God’s Holy commandment from the very beginning.

1 SAMUEL 2:13-17 And the priests custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest’s servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand; And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the flesh hook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh, unto all the Israelites that came thither. Also before they burnt the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw. And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force. Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.

GENESIS 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

The Gospel of the Holy twelve Lection XXX111 1-8
Jesus was teaching his disciples in the outer court of the temple and one of them said unto him: Master, it is said by the priests that without shedding of blood there is no remission. And Jesus answered: No blood offering, of beast or bird, or man, can take away sin, for how can the conscience be purged from sin by the shedding of innocent blood? Nay, it will increase the condemnation of the worshippers for the trespasses against the law of Moses, but for the sins against the Law of God there can be no remission, save by repentance and amendment. Is it not written in the Prophets, (Jesus is quoting from JERMIAH 7:21-26); Put your blood sacrifices to your burnt offerings, and away with them, and cease ye from the eating of flesh, for I spake not to your fathers nor commanded them, when I brought them of Egypt, concerning these things? But this thing I commanded saying: Obey my voice and walk in the ways that I have commanded you, and ye shall be my people, and it shall be well with you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear. And what doth the Eternal command you to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God?

1 SAMUEL 2:22-26 Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; [how they lay with the women] that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? For I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD’s people to transgress. If one man sin against the LORD, who shall entreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them. God sends a prophet unto Eli, the first witness.

1 SAMUEL 2:29 Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at my offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; [and honourest thy sons above me], to make your selves fat with the [chiefest of all offerings of Israel my people].

1 SAMUEL 2:32 And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house forever. 1 SAMUEL 2:34-35 And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them. And I will raise up a [faithful priest], that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind, and he shall walk before mine anointed forever.

1 SAMUEL 3:1-3 AND the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; [And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD], where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;

Samuel the second witness.
1SAMUEL 3:8-18
And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli preceived that the LORD had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make and end. For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; [because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not]. And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever. And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. [And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision]. Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I. And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee. And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good. And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: [for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD].

Now comes the judgment against Eli, his sons and the nation. God raised up a new priest that would follow the Law of God to the very letter.

1 SAMUEL 4:15-18
Now Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes were dim, that he could not see. I am he that came out of the army, and I fled to-day out of the army. And he said, What is there done, my son? And the messenger answered and said, Israel is fled before the Philistines, and there hath been also a great slaughter among the people, and thy two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God is taken. And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. And he judged Israel forty years.

1PETER 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God.

JEREMIAH 23:1-4
WOE be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! Saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

HOSEA 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

In closing pastors, this is a message for you. Please I beg of you fast, pray and seek God on this message I pray.
