Has the Bible Been Tampered With? Yes
Does It Matter? Yes

The purpose of Bible Study: Know Your Bible, is not so much about proving that the King James and Catholic Bibles have been negatively tampered with, but to provide an unbiased insight into the Doctrine passed down by our Heavenly Father, and His Son, Jesus, through the utilization of Old Testament Prophecies, which are coupled with discoveries made in the late 1800s, and during the 1940s. These discoveries uncovered writings that archeologists and a surprising number of scholars have deemed to be authentic. These writings are known as The Gospel of the Holy Twelve (formerly known as The Gospel of the Nazarenes), The Gospels of the Nag Hammadi and the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Gospel of the Nazarenes was referred to in the writings of the early church Fathers, Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, and Polycarp of Smyrna, as being the Original Doctrine taught by Jesus. It’s a Doctrine that differs from the doctrine contained in the Old and New Testaments of the King James and Catholic Bibles, and the differences are significant. In addition, the writings contained in The Gospels of the Nag Hammadi and the Dead Sea Scrolls, contain same teachings as The Gospel of the Holy Twelve, and many of the verses are word for word.
Why does the truth matter? It matters because everyone has the right to know the true side of God, and His Son, Jesus Christ. For years there have been Christians and Catholics alike who have had concerns about their Bible, and rightly so; they contain inconsistencies and contradictions that cannot be definitively answered by the clergy. Whenever a question could not be answered to a parishioner’s satisfaction, they were ultimately told that they simply must believe. Is that really an acceptable answer?
Both the King James and Catholic Bibles, portray God and Jesus as having a vindictive side to them. In the Scriptures of The Gospel of the Holy Twelve, Jesus said, “Keep ye the commandments. Love thy God with all thy heart, and love thy neighbor as thyself. On these hang all the law and the prophets.” I ask you this: can a person truly love God with all of their heart, if they fear God because they believe Him to be vindictive?
In general, as a group of people believing in God, His Son and the Holy Spirit, we naturally base our beliefs on the second-hand information that we have learned over time, from the church we attend. Mark Twain said it well when he wrote in his 1959 Autobiography: “In religion and politics, people’s beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing.”
With that being said, my only intent is to provide information from credible resources that an individual can assess and utilize to develop a personal understanding and peace of mind. It’s my goal to help those who are seeking truthful answers, by providing them with a foundation upon which they can determine what is truth, and what is not.
In 325 AD, Roman Emperor, Constantine, convened and presided over the First Council of Nicaea, during which the bishops in attendance, which was only 18% of all bishops under Constantine’s rule, decided upon which of the numerous texts regarding Christ’s teachings that were in circulation at that time, would make up our present-day Bible. Once the meeting adjourned, Constantine ordered those teachings destroyed, and they were. Why did Constantine order such a thing? What did those teachings contain that could have been so harmful to his agenda, that he found it necessary to keep that information hidden from the masses?
There is a link on this page, THE HOLY VIRUS, which is a book written by Document Examiner, Lional Parkinson. Lional is not affiliated with any religion, church or political party, and is only concerned with indisputable facts. He has testified as an expert witness in courtrooms because of his skill in objectively solving questioned documents. At the request of Christians and Catholics who had concerns about their Bible, he used those skills to find factual, verifiable answers to resolve their issues. He found many inconsistencies, and clearly demonstrates why he deemed them to be such, and he points out why they are a result of tampering by unknown authors at given times in history. I highly recommend this work as an additional reference source to utilize during your search for truth.
