Not all crop circles are real. Some crop circles are detailed fakes that have been masterminded by dedicated hoaxers. In August of 2010 in Wiltshire, England crop circles began to appear in fields and crops during the night. At first it was thought that these were legitimate crop circles put in place by extraterrestrials or another unknown force but after a quick investigation it was revealed that the crop circles were crafted by clever hoaxers that were hiding their tools in a nearby pods storage facility. While in this particular case the crop circles were not of other worldly origins there is evidence that others were not made by man. See below for additional information.
