Another Spiritual Contact
I woke around 12:30 after a couple hours of deep sleep and my mind immediately kicked into high gear. I had been trying to find a solution to a problem that had been plaguing me for several weeks, and this routine had become a nightly ritual. It left me short on sleep, and trying to function intelligently when I'm overtired has always been a major handicap. But last night something different happened, I didn't toss and turn for hours. I had been awake for maybe 30 minutes when I started seeing floating golden objects behind my closed eyes, and then all of a sudden I felt myself standing, yet I was very aware that I was still laying on my right side in bed.
When I focused my attention on my new surroundings I saw a woman almost my height standing directly in front of me. She had straight long blonde hair that hung about 4 to 5 inches below her shoulders, but I couldn’t make out her face. She came up to me and put her arms around me just as I heard a command, “Go with the flow.” I didn’t even give a momentary thought to doing anything else. I felt her body press against me as she hugged me. Then I heard a voice say, “Hug me.” I did, and the last thing I remember is resting my head against hers as I hugged her back. The next thing I knew it was 20 after five in the morning. I could see the dawn’s light filtering through the curtains covering the sliding glass doors, and one of the first things that came to my mind was that hug. Also when I woke, for the first time in several weeks I felt rested and invigorated, and continued to feel that way until I went to bed that night.
Another memorable event occurred the morning before, which happened to be my birthday. I had a yen for bagel and lox, so my wife and I went to a nearby casino for breakfast. When we sat down the waitress put two keno cards on the table that I hadn’t seen before. You had to pick two numbers, give the keno girl the card along with a $1, and if your numbers came up you’d get a $15 certificate for the restaurant. I decided, "What the heck," and played the month and year of my birth. The numbers lit up on the keno board, and when I saw them I heard in the top center of my head, "Happy birthday." Chills followed immediately and lasted for about 15 seconds. It's the first time I can recall spirit wishing me a happy birthday.

to believe in, and have faith in God and yourself.
